What is the MRA Grant?
The MRA is IE Singapore’s broad-based program that assists local companies to venture overseas. With the aim to provide businesses with sufficient support in this undertaking, a wide range of tools are made available, which are grouped into three categories: Information, Learning, and Financial Assistance.
Provides tools such as research databases, market and sector insights to help business owners navigate through new markets.
Offers broad-based seminars, clinics and workshops that aim to teach SMEs how to do business in foreign markets and create opportunities as they team up with business partners.
This is probably what many businesses are eyeing on as this provides support to reduce financial costs as the lucky chosen companies enter new markets.
What does the MRA offer?
The MRA Grant aims to buffer the challenging move of entering unfamiliar markets overseas. This grant is offered to help overseas ventures defray a portion of their costs for market assessment, market entry and business restructuring through internalization.
With Singapore SMEs in mind, the MRA grant was designed to act as a catalyst for their international expansion. It supports pre-determined activities focused on overseas set-ups, identification of business partners, online marketing and overseas market promotion.
